u know y ur friends agreed to turn u down? Cuz u r not confident enough to propose or "sell" ur idea of forming a boy band. How do u expect them to trust u when ur not confident? Otherwise, is that they see u "speak" but no "action"

why so mean one... how can you say such discouraging words.. the truth always hurts but what you said may not be true. powerful vocals are not innate, musical instruments can learn how to play right? handsome or not... doesn't matter anymore in today's music scene. what matters most is that the artistes produce good music. what's the use of good looks..

Hope u dun view my comments negatively. Its the harshness of reality u must face, forming a band isnt easy. Tell u y I said that, my class monitor Tan Y__g W_i (dun want to reveal his real name out) is a real intelligent guy. He differentiates from most of other ITE students as he is very mature and he speaks with perception from all angles. Once he tried to set up a CCA by himself, with the hopes of running some kind of business. He proposed his idea to many of his classmates including me. But guess what? Many of us left later on and the club became a disaster. Reason? Yes, he is interested in running clubs and many other things..so much that he is a chairman of a youth club in Kampong Bangali (fake name, dun wish to reveal) Community Center and his commitment towards our club at school gradually ceased. Eventually he was kicked out of his club, kinda ironic, especially for a person who set up the club. I left the club too. Altough I can see his sincerity in proposing, but I cant see his real "action" towards the club.
Now I am an aspiring actor, he advised me to get a group of friends with the same interest for drama to get together, but there was 1 thing that struck me, he told me dun ever ever follow his pathway.
U will definately face alot of criticism during ur journey of stardom. Its how u accept it and perceive it. If everyone flatters u and u think thats good, u r preparing for to destroy ur career. All of us may encourage u, but in the end u failed to try cuz u r shy, not confident, I dun see any point there.
Those fans may boo at Simon Cowell for criticizing the American Idols wannabe, but without him, will there be any room for perfection and improvement? -
1. Find ur cause of "action" first. Find out the reason y u want to be a star. Or maybe u have finished finding.
2. Next, plan ur "action"
3. Finally "action"

There are actually many other singers who are actually not that gdlkng. Eg Ho Yeow Sun and look at the final 3 candidates of the American Idol. Does looks get them that far? Julia is the most gorgeous among the 12 semi finalists, but was also one of the first to be ousted. Y? Cuz she cant sing!
As for the comments by Chinaprix or whatever, u know, u will find an coward like him/her in every forum. Glad u didnt take that seriously. -
