I guess the difference between best frds and normal frds is.. U need not speak anything and somehow he understand u. And of course a person whom u can share ur troubles with! -

but well.. we shud learn to suspend judgement. dun mean u guess tts how he/she going to react tts y u dun tell. o cos the listener mus learn not to jump to conclusions too fast and let the person finish first. i guess the person who speaks mus be clear and mus be able to put his/her point across well.

But not everyone has your interest at heart, not even your best frnd
so to trust them fully, hmmm may actually seem like a weakness or mistake -

Best friends are friends u feel u can depend on them when u really need help. u no need to tell them everything. i have a friend whom i consider my best friend, know him since primary 6, been yrs not meeting him, but i know he is there for me when i need him. -
Agreed, some one whom you can shared anything you wish and vice-versa... You probably know each other's mood and character, course of action and so forth, but due respect to your decision even if he/she does not agree with your action. Someone who can agree to dis-agree on matters, but should act as a filter to check and guide each other in doing righteous things. Yes, you would know for sure, he/she is always there if needed (but you may want to avoid causing inconvenient to him/her), and will not hestiate to render assistance whenever possible, sometimes, even overboard at the expanse of those close to him/she just because you are his best friend. Something hard to come by should you find one.. Some one close to you, but not related to you. Yet, he may just behave like another memeber of your family when he visit you, no body bother to treat him like a stranger, even included in their family outing.
Someone trustworthy in character and you know regardless of what, comforting to know that his silent presence in time of needs, when you are down is more than sufficient to enlight your burden and ease the load in you, would feel encourage just merely sitting idle even for hours without a word.
