Seriously speaking, I don't expect presents - but at the very least, I hope to see your appreciation - a card, a letter, a box or whatever, made from her own effort. last time when i was in my secondary sch
my first bf..during V-dae..i bought this watch that cost ard $100+++
den in return he gave me this card...
den i was like
....somemore no dinner no nothing..
maybe last time young..will feel really shitty..but now..i think..is the thought that count..sometimes the little things that my bf do for me..i feel very touch liao..although he do spend a lot of $$ on me..*but perhaps is becoz i m studying and he is working*.. -

she stays in pasir ris HBD so...i brought some candles making it into a heart shaped...right under her room...called her up at 05:12:13am
light it up n asked her to look down n say 'happy birthday'.

Come on, if you don;t have that expectation then you will not feel sad.
Whatever you do for her should be your own willing and not to expect anything in return, unless you sign agreement.
If you do not expect anything from her, wouldn't that be nicer if she did. This also applies in your friendship -
