  I guess none of u actually experienced b4 lor... that's why give thess kind of answers. I'm nt talking about two people that u only know for days, weeks or even months. I'm talking about 2 different people that you've known for years, been thru shiit wif both of them before, and developed 2 totally different set of feelings wif them, but know for sure within yourself that you'll give up everything for either of them, if required. It's a very confusing situation, in a society where the perceived norm allows for only monogamy or monogamy-type relationships. I guess nobody here has ever developed the kind of emotional capacity as yet.

  obviously u can love more than one person... but there is only one person who u can truly love... as in u can sacrifice your life for the one person since without him/her... its no worse than dying

  you are rite. i've tried before. one is love, the other is probably a liking or something. but its not a pleasant situation to be in. even if both guys like u back. its not like tat 'xin fu', cos things get complicated, n u still got to choose one of them.

  And as common as it seemed - in the end, you would probably end up with neither, or wouldn't last as long as it could be without such complication.
  
  Highest accord of case I know: four timing. Actually seemed like damn zai, but in reality is quite pitiful and sad.

  I think i get what u mean. all in all u just dun wanna lose them to anyone else other than yourself. u feel that if they r gone u r but nothing. it could b infatuation or it could b love. but one thing is for sure, one's love can only be for one person. this is the person that u r completely yourself with, the one u will die for, the one who knows u like nobody else. the one whom when u r sad lend u his/her shoulder to cry on, the one who know how to cheer u up, gives u encouragement whenever u needed it. ask yourself who do u want to spend the rest of your life with, than that's the one u truly love.

  Not really everyone. I know what you mean cos I went through it once. But somewat like Red Ruby said, there must be one you have a stronger feeling for. I knew one of them for almost 8 years and another for 6 years, went through ups & downs. It's hard to say who you love more, but who can you picture living the rest of your life with. Also once a choice is made, u've to gear up your willpower to let go of the other one.

  I would say that this scenario will happens often especially when you can't find the feeling/thing that you are looking for in your partner.
  
  SO when another party that can provide the feeling/thing to you, you will find yourself so-called in love with this party.
  
  but then really you have to ask yourself, are you in love for who he/she is, or are in love with the feelings/thing he/she can provide you with..
