Whatever things you learn in life, will never be a waste. What you choose to learn and apply, only YOU can do it.
Regarding the Airforce. Classified things, the outside world don't need to know. If you're really interested in aerospace, then after you ORD, you will MAKE THE EFFORT to stay in the aerospace industry. The knowledge in the Air Force, be it Air Frame / Engine, Radar / Communication, will help you when you start your new job. that's IF you get a job in the aerospace industry. If not, take what you learnt, the people skills and your degree (assuming you UPGRADE yourself instead of wasting time in there) and get a job outside. Because compared to fresh grads, you'll know how to present yourself, and you know how to take care of yourself in your new company. Something grads nowadays don't know how to do
Kekeke... smell your flames from here. Aiya, he wanted views mah, then all the good stuff is being said over at his side, then just demostrate negative side for him to consider lor. Afterall, the ultimate decision lies within him - just don't regret upon the decision made

When you get enlisted, it will be more difficult as more factor they will look into before considered your application. After you passed out from your BMT, it will be almost impossible as you are already put into the Army staffing orbat, only certain successful applied vocations like pilot, NDU etc...will be release. Other than that... most of the time the formation HQ will not release them. If you are posted to combat unit by then... you can only apply for combat vocation in the Army ONLY.

but no pt in being dulan. some ppl bash saf for the sake of bashing it with no basis. no pt wasting saliva trying to explain things to these ppl. but o cos there r ppl who genuinely got misguided and misinformed. so its up to ppl like u to help dispel myths and correct the organisation's public image. -
