Dont think there's a fixed number of times.... if both parties free then meet lor.
Last time I tried to fixed at least once a week for my gf to come over my place for dinner. If can't make it also never mind. -
there should be no limit, as long as u feel like meeting meet lor.. but make sure u got enuff time to attend to your priorities lor...

Actually its common for a couple to meet almost everyday in their "honeymoon" period... Perhaps the first 3 or 4 months.
But as time goes by, either one party (usually guys) will feel bored/tired or feel that there's not a need to meet everyday. Coz you've been meeting each other, doing some things at least more than once already (e.g., shopping, going to romantic places, etc)
Then perhaps meeting each other will be reduced to twice a week... unless there's any special occasion(s) or unexpected event(s), then the days of meeting each other will increased a bit...
Honestly speaking, try not to meet everyday at the beginning of the relationship... otherwise, as time goes by, the days of meeting up reduced, the gal might have a weird/uncomfortable feeling... She might not get use to it. Gals might even have the thinking that, why we don't meet up so often? Why you don't wanna meet me so often? (Sensitive ones --> You don't love me as much as before? Are you tired of seeing me?)

Its all in the art of compromising and realising. Such scenario often happens right after the initial honeymoon stage, or at least when the relationship has begin to feel a little too 'comfortable'. In the end, they will try to work out a common solution and acceptance gradually take place. If quarrel take places and affects the relationship - unwilling to compromise, acceptance and work out is the cause of it. Such things are nothing in face of these qualities. Learn to acknoledge the existence of problem and tackle it.

I don't think there is a standard we all shd follow. I think how many time a couple meet totally depends on the circumstances. Think of long-distant relationships... those couples don't meet very often, but thanks to modern technology, they can still remain close to each other.

though there's no rule for you to follow how many times you should meet, but I think there should be period of how long you guys don't meet. (assuming that both of you are living in the same country). If not there's going to be trouble if you guys are not sparing to meet even once a month... BIG TROUBLE...
