Gals or Guys should take the initiaive??

Just had a talk with some friends.....seems like quite a number of them are faced with this same scenario.....
I have also read about this topic in another forum before...seems like some guys like being approached by gals.....taking that as a sort of flattery.....So......
Who do you think should take the initiative?
Girls or Guys....
Both guys and gals are fearful of rejection....So what are the pros and cons if a guy/gal makes the first move.....
Now is the 21st century....yaya...girls are getting more daring...is it really true?? Some guys are just too shy to approach the gals they like etc....
But i still think it would be better if guys make the first move........ That's how i advice my friends.....maybe its more of a conservative thinking...hee hee.....
What are your views? -
actually i think it doesnt matter who make the 1st move..
if one reali like the other party i think shld actually test the person or b frank tell the person bt mayb can b a jokin manner then if kena reject wont b tat malu...

Both guy and gal should take the initiative. Life is so short, why bother about fear of rejection? It is better to be rejected, than to face the posssibility of losing someone who could possibly have affections for you?

i wasnt opposing that guys should not make the first move. i was encouraging that girls should make the first move as well.

you are right that MCP behaviour wont get anyone anywhere. likewise, FCP behaviour wont get one anywhere either.
in today's world, u can always choose to wait for the guy whom u like to initiate the first move. but this doesnt necessary mean he will.
and when he doesnt and head for someone else, you would probably be one of those girls who curse and swear that good guys are either married or gays.
all in all, if one doesnt know how to open their big mouth on what they want, he/she doesnt deserve it.
and please dont make it sound like giving birth is like hell. one can choose not to do so. in return, do you wanna try national service and be the gender that inherently be acknowledged as the breadwinner? -

as a guy, i had and would approach when i find myself wanting to.
it is just that in this generation, there are little justification for girls not to do likewise.
whatever reasons there are for the female gender to be passive when it comes to relationship can always be used otherwise.
