please
read my previous posts carefully, i believe i have done so by rebuking reasons stated by both whistar and huy.
my aunt once told me no matter what, gers should not the take the intiaitve first. or esle the guy will take u for granted and u may end up regretting that u make the first move[/quote]
this sentence can be symmetrically read as:
"guys should not take the initiative first. or else the girl will take u for granted and you may end up regretting that u make the first move."
frankly, there are so many cases of girls being taken for granted, even when they are not the initiating party.

It doesn't mean that if a guy takes the first move he will be taken for granted....instead....it shows
1) how much that girl means to him
2) the courage he has to admit to his feelings....
again, this reasoning can also be read as :
It doesn't mean that if a girl takes the first move she will be taken for granted....instead....it shows
1) how much that guy means to her
2) the courage she has to admit to her feelings
with all these so-called justifications pouring in, i am still able to substitute the "he" for a "she" and vice versa, without making it sound too insensible.
and for that, it derives my conclusion of "there are little justification for girls not to do likewise". get it?
i repeat. my point here is that about the party initiating the move when one has to, regardless of the gender.
