  after form 5, she can apply for a asean scholarship (not much info about this) or apply direct to any singapore poly. was asking my sis about this and she said that your friend can apply for a scholarship if her results are pretty good.
  
  for entry to a singapore uni, she would need to first take A-Levels in a private college or complete her STPM (form 6). after which, she can apply for a place in the uni.
  
  but, a word of caution, get ready to spend lots of money on phone calls. try buying one of those international calling cards. my personal recommendation is the Phoenix card .... you'll get a lil' more than 2hrs for $10 and the 1800 is FOC if you call from your house phone.

  well, get her to come to singapore to study (as a valid student pass holder), afterwhich apply for employment pass (type Q1/Q2/P1/P2) so she can work here.
  
  If she's here working (using work permit) better dont try anything funny.
  If you 2 get married without MOM's (ministry of manpower) permission, she would be banned from coming to singapore for life. No kidding.
  
  Lastly, if u're well to-do, marry her and apply PR for her, afterwhich she can get citizenship in singapore.
  
  note: employment pass = skilled or professional workers (eg. system analyst/enginners/accountant/.......)
  work permit = unskilled workers (factory worker/packer/waitress.....)
