keep calling him can't find him.

i think police report won't help too. u need evidence when u resort to legal means and i'm sure u won't ask ur ex to issue u an iou when u lent him the money right.

Just as unexpected, u never know what will happen in future..
to be frank as things shown, it's kinda diff for you to get the $$ back..
perhaps u can really do what some of the forumites mentioned you can try approaching the family to see if they can try to solve this prob... at least not solve.. but to locate him~~ -

get debt collectors/thugs to help,only 20% of wateva they get back for u.....
