Has anyone of you ever encountered relationship problems relating to some financial aspects?
are they deadly to a relationship?
I kind of feel breathless b'cos of it & sad...

Yeps! Most times its the girls who are complaining though. Esp when the guy cannot pay for his own meals and have to beg and borrow from gf...

yes...one of frd her ex bf kept on askin her to pay for all his bill and bike charges and he dun even bother to look for a proper job whenever they goes out she is the one paying (she dun mean at all) but she has to work in order to support herself she cant support him forever like tt
i feel tt he is useless as a guy shd able to support himself by havin a stable job and income he cant just depend on others ......... no matter he is a guy

hmm ...... such sad stories of sad bf's. anyway, most of my friends pay for their gf or go dutch (except for special occasions where the gf insists
). never had a friend who did it the other way, nor did it myself.

think the rp will be affected negatively if one party starts borrowing from the other. when things turn ugly, this is going to become one big issue to fight over.

Money is very essential to the relationship.
Its not VERY important, but still, it cannot be neglected.
Without money you cant even take a bus ride to meet
your girl.
Guys should do MOST of the paying, even it means sacrificing
your daily cigarettes just for that extra bit of cash.
You love the girl don't you?
What both parties can do in a relationship is to
provide for one another... Its not always the guys who pay..
Sometimes when I have very little cash in the wallet, my
girl pays for me...Sometimes even if i have enough money,
she still insists on paying for somethings.. just to show that she appreciates...
Paying for your ex-bf's handphone bills..etc.. when he
REFUSES to work is simply ridiculous... it goes to show
how much depending on you he is... doesnt even make an effort
to help himself... -

but, i strongly believe that your statement is only true for those small things. it cannot apply to the bigger expenses in life.
when it comes to big things, trust me, you don't want to be the only one paying ......... and "sacrificing your daily cigarettes" won't be enuff to pay for those things.

whether u r a guy or gal and willing to pay say so for a meal, movie, bills, etc... den bare in mind that u shouldn't compaint in e end...
over is over, dun dig out and calculate...! if knot work out a gd finance equation, den i tink its time to sit down and talk... -

as with other things in any reln, as long as neither thinks that the other is taking advantage of him/her.
from personal experience, i've never had this problem. money isn't that big an issue for me.. if i have it, great! if i don't then i guess i'll just have to be more frugal...
if my gf needs money, if i have, yeah sure. as for paying, well watever goes lar.. but i think yeah, mainly i did the paying the other time when i was attached, since i was working and she didn't. didn't bother me, and she wasn't at all a spendthrift. in fact, she doesn't like me to buy things for her all that much becos she knows money is tough to earn. it's usually i who insist on buying it for her becos she likes it. -
i think if both are shouldering equal share of the burden, relationship should work.... both just have to 'pe-ah' together for a better future... but if it's one sided... not healthy le...

I am not saying being rich = the greatest growth. Anything more than self sufficient is a bonus that usually doesn't get the score.
Then again, financial aspect of a relationship depends heavily on the couple individually. Some couples feels the need to spend on entertainment, shopping, etc as part of the tools used to upkeep a relationship on a very frequent regular basis, therefore couple expenses are high. The word 'self sufficient' would therefore be much higher than another couple, say both devote themselves towards volunteering causes and keeping a rather simple love. (jian dan ai). Anything less than couple's definition of 'self sufficient' would usually create frictions.
Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn (especially Taurus) - would focus more of their material/physical needs when it comes to love.
P.S: If financial problem occurs because your bf refuse to work and rather you pay for his expenses, then its kinda serious, not because of the financial part - rather the quality that your bf demonstrate.

i think that different relationships have different comfort(spending) levels. if you can afford it........
e.g. if a couple both have jobs, then the guy should pay for most of the expenses(assuming that it won't greatly affect him), depending on the income. the girl should then pay for some the expenses incurred.
on the other hand, if a couple are still schooling, depending on their parents for allowances, etc. then both parties should pay for their own share. -
but how will you handle this issue if both are still schooling...but the guy's getting more pocket money than the gal... the guy is in NS...gal is schooling.. gal is working, guy is still schooling...will you expect the gal to pay for most of the meals, expenses together?

i think at times gf bf go out, sometimes he pay sometimes i pay its fine lor .. but if he purposely no work n depend too much on u, its very very wrong already....
there's no need to find a rich guy as bf , u have to find a guy that's willing to spend on u , thats more important -

Doesn't mean just because you're working means you pay cos you have your own expenses to look after also...
