Just wondering why people say you can forgive but not forget??
Isn't the pure fact that you won't forget means you haven't forgiven the person for whatever he/she had done? If you have, you won't spend so much time remembering that mistake or "labelling" the person as the one who committed the mistake. The act of not forgetting what went wrong is as good as bearing a grudge.
Indeed, in any relationship, friendship etc, to forgive and forget is tough...and its even harder to put yourself in the other person's shoes and love him/her despite what he/she did....

Forgive and get used. Don't attempt to forget consciously because you will only remember more.
