To forget someone is really not easy. And how much time u need to take to forget also depends on yourself.Maybe u can try to spend more time hanging out wif ur friends lor. Good luck and take care.

how can she say wan to leave and jus leave,,,,without having a thought for me? i wan always there wan she needed me.......i nv ever say i wan to leave her in this 2 years....but time and time this words can jus come out from her mouth.....wat i have done in the end all come back to nothing....i knw she is pretty.....but i did not like her for that.,....i love her the way she is when i know her.....but since she became more pretty and went into poly....thing change,,,,,,,sudden start to think of her....think of the happy times we had and bad time we went through togther.... ...so many WHY in my head.....

like always, no point trying to consciously forget - learn to get used. When you keep trying to forget consciously, you remember them unconsciously. Learn to get used, learn to recognise parting in love - be emotionally adaptable.

I also trying to forget someone so I'm putting on a brave front, coz i dun wan anyone worry abt me... So u muz also do the same... Yesh, forgetting somebody is really hard. Even if u try & make urself v. bz, chances r, u'll still daydream abt her.

I am trying to forget someone too. At least it seems like you have had some pleasant memories with the girl. In my case, there's only hurt.

1. You think of the happenings... Figured out what happened and you let it go... (The more common approach)
2. You just let it go... You have to admit 'defeat' and accept the fact that things are OVER... The moment you linger on hopes and matters of the past, this won't work... Then you can try to figure things out (but it has to be at a stage where you've already learnt to let it go 1st...)... Though you might or not might figure the matter out, but it won't be much of an important issue anymore...
The reason for approach (2) (the more uncommon one...) is because when one is very upset by a break up, he / she probably won't be in a condition to think in much of a logical matter... -

U hafta recognise tt each of us is different. Try Not to dwell on it too much, it can drive u crazy.

Okie, I'll tell u my views, but pls understand tt it's mine, & doesn't necessarily mean tt ur ex will think tt way.
Of cosh in the beginning, there'll be memories of those fond times, but after awhile, I'll pick up the pieces & move on. Yesh, I will feel bad abt the split, but ultimately, if tt person wasn't right for me, it'd be unfair to both parties if I kept him by my side.
Her letting u go might Not actually be totally selfish. It'd be more selfish of her to keep u whilst looking out for a "better" suitor. This way, she allows u the chance to find someone who'll make u happier...
Bear tt in mind, & it'll be ezier for u to pick up the pieces... Crying & feeling sad is part & parcel of a r'ship breakup. If u din love her, u wldn't cry, so in a way, it's a gd thg. But wat's impt is tt, after u've grieved, u move on & haf a positive outlook.
