Existing Taxpayer
You will need to file an income tax form as long as an income tax form/ EF-PIN letter (Electronic Filing letter) has been sent to you.
New Taxpayer
You will have to file an income tax form if your annual income in Singapore is $20,000 or more.
For a married man who elects for combined assessment if you and your wifeÂ’s combined income is $20,000 or more, you will have to file an income tax form.
If you are a new taxpayer and a non-resident for income tax purposes, you will have to file a tax form if you have income (other than dividend income) sourced in Singapore.
Q2: How do I obtain my income tax form / EF-PIN letter?
Existing Taxpayer
If you have not received an income tax form or an EF-PIN letter by mid-March, you can call 1800-3568311 (24-hour automated telephone service) to request for a copy of the income tax form. The enquiry code is 62. A copy of the income tax form will be sent to you by post.
If you wish to speak to an officer, please call 1800-3568300 if you are an employee. If you are a sole-proprietor, self-employed or a partner, please call 1800-3568611.
New Taxpayer
You can provide us with your personal particulars by completing the Registration of New Taxpayers Form which can be downloaded from our website or obtained via our Fax Express Service (Code 106). We will create a record and send the form to you. You will have to file the tax form within 21 days.
