if it is someone i noe and care about i will find an appropriate time and way of finding out why is causing this.
if it is jus anyone else, and if it does not bother me, den so be it.. i cant be worried about pleasing everyone else in this world. -

perhaps its also time to reflect on our own behaviour and wat we could have done to lead to this?
its hard to let go sometimes..but sometimes ppl need their own space. u may think tt by letting go now, he/she may never come back again despite ur open approach. wat i would do is jus to maintain the contact, checking in once in a while with ur normal means (sms, icq, etc), jus to let the person noe nothing's changed on ur side.
o cos all these is dependent on the exact situation... these r wat i think i will do given the information i gleaned from ur post... -

Believe in yourself, if you have not done anything sorry to you friend. just let it be he or she will take sometime to realise.
The more you wanted to know or find up you make the realtionship sour. If you suspect you had done something wrong why not just find sometime to own up yourself before he/she piont the figure at you?

Actually can employ two methods: Direct and indirect of knowing. Being direct is to question and ask personally; be tactful in words and show concern about your friend than the problem itself first. There is no smoke without fire.
Indirect refers to others friends that could use to scout his/her thoughts, motives, problems and issues. But of course, your friend has to be witty to avoid letting the cat out of the bag.
P.S: Much worst if your friend is a cancer, scorpio or pisces
