Sometimes it takes something to learn who are your real friends and who aren't. Unfortunately, many a times we only learns it by having a hole burnt in our pocket.
Even for friends, I think sometimes we should set a budget to how much we should lend them. But if we know they are trustworthy, then that's all right.
