KDF - Flag Day...

I would be holding a 'gathering' for this Flag Day event on 29th May '04...
There would be 3 shifts...
1st shift : 7.30am - 1pm
2nd shift : 9.30am - 3pm
3rd shift : 11.30am - 5pm
I would probably be joining the 3rd shift as I'll be working that morning... And probably can only join you people around 12.30pm-1pm?
Interested participants pls PM me your contact and let me know...
The venue would be finalised again, but as usual.. I would try to fight for a centralised location probably around Orchard area...
Once again, people not joining us due to whatever reason(s)... Please don't avoid us and DONATE GENEROUSLY... The patients REALLY NEEDS the $$$... THANKS...

KDF‘s Flag Day is on 29 May 2004, Saturday. We need as many volunteers as possible!
To make it convenient for our volunteers, we have three shifts for the day:
Shift A – 7.30 am to 1.00 pm
Shift B – 9.30 am to 3.00 pm
Shift C – 11.30 am to 5.00 pm

to what I know NKF put only use 56% of the fund they collected to help Patients , and KDF use 83% of the fund they collected help all need Patients, some even no money to paid their bills, most KDF Patients is 0 to low income. -

KDF is the Kidney Dialysis Foundation. The one which you probably would not even much hear of... Because they don't do marketing nor much advertising... Their running budget is strict as they try to provide for as much as the fund for the patient's 1st hands use as possible...

talking abt NKF. I've heard that the CEO of NKF flies on 1st class. It was even reported in the papers but he made no attempt to clarify.
I was really dissappointed as I felt how cld he use these donations for such luxury? -

True I agree ... to what I find out ... due to money alot of poor Patients is waiting for their treatment at KDF, they hope not only help them on treatment and also help them to look for job ... why two? so the poor patients can go to the right one with low cost treatment, and of cause they need your support.Originally posted by Devil1976:Well... I like to invite all to the Flag Day on the 29/05/2004, I have spoken to Miss Chia who in charge of the project, they need more volunteers, now they only have 800 people have sign up on that day, they need 2000 more people to join.
Please give them your help hand, to help them to rise more fund to help the poor Patients on hand. All they need is you support.
