Gosh I must protest against the *original* post.
Don't think I am dysfunctional, ugly, overweight with emotional baggage or a boring prude. Neither am I slutty, easy, nor a motor mouth ah-lian who still pines for her ah beng boyfriend who liked to squat by kerbs with her. But alas (or not), I still fall into the Single Girl category.
Have been on several dates as well, so let me share with you, what I'VE learnt from dating -
1. Most guys are fixated on the Japanese / Korean prototype female with rebonded hair, demure auras and submissive characters. Even though the guys themselves aren't exactly J-pop or Korean television soap-opera-leading-men-lookalike themselves
2. Most guys aren't very imaginative or interesting when it comes to what to do on a date. They seem to have shares in Cathay Cineleisure, judging by the number of movies they propose to watch
3. Most guys are rather childish for their age.
4. Most guys don't have many views other than what they think of their work, what car they want to buy, and which soccer team they support.
Don't get me wrong - these are just personal observations. In no way am I a bitter man-bashing / man-hating b i t c h. Just that these guys aren't right for me, just like I'm not right for them, so we move on with our respective lives

Oh and by the way, I've used the "Let's Be Friends" line before, and it doesn't always mean "You're Ugly". It usually means "You're Not Very Interesting or We Don't Have Chemistry". Which could be worse.... depending on how you look at it.
