  Think the honey moon period is rubbish... it's true that there is a heony moon period in the relationship where everything is sweet and seem so perfect. However the very basic of holding hands still remains even when most of the sweet nothings disappear gradually after the "honeymoon".
  
  There should be no reason why he wouldn't wanna hold your hand unless there is something really wrong with either one of your hands. It seems like he has some issues on acknowledging this relationship in public.
  
  Think the main thing you need to focus on now is how did the relationship turn this way, is there a 3rd party involve or sense if he is losing interest in this relationship.
  
  BTW, how old are the both of you? I think age and maturity does play a part here.

  Firstly, all of you are discussing why is he behaving like this, and not what is making him behave like this.
  
  Issit because of pressure from work? issit because of what you did? or issit you are giving him too much pressure?
  
  From my personal experience, the few stages in a relationship is
  
  1) Jio-ing period - Most exciting period
  2) Dating - sweet yet bitter
  3) Marriage
  4) "Honeymoon period", as you call it - still full of affection
  5) Post-marriage nightmare - Guy no longer gets the thrill and excitement, thus starts losing the feeling.
  
  so that's pretty much what i believe in.

  My ex-boyfried was like that too... then i found out he had a new philipino girlfriend with big boobs. so that was it
