I do not believe this... I am just an above average looking guy... Went after a girl and this girl told me i will never stand a chance with her... So depressed... She told me she is too good for me and she would only be together with good looking guys even if they are a bit lacking in character... This happened yesterday and I do not know if I should give her up or continue to be friends... Is looks really that important??

I think you should be glad that she fobbed you off right at the start. Think about it this way. What if she didnt'.. and dragged you along for a ride?? Then told you that you were basically shitehouse and she's too good for ya.
