It's difficult to stop that kinda feeling if she still keep in contact with you and like, tell you their problems, share with you their angst, joy etc..

for those who say they will stop liking the other party, does that mean they can switch off their emotions like pressing a button?
i'm currently in this lousy state. i know it's impossible between us but i really can't stop liking her..juz like that. and most importantly i do not know if i should stop liking her juz bcoz it's impossible between us...

Yes of course, it is always healthy to go along with your feelings. You can only like the person when you really feel that you like the person. It doesn't matters if the person's heart is filled by anybody or not. But one thing though, like the person as long as your heart allows you to do so. There will eventually be one fine day when you will wake up and your heart will stop liking that person. Both she and I have our own relationship... however, things were bit rocky for each our R/S but is not at the same time. So I asked her does she have an interest in me back then (6yrs ago) She said yes....as in recently when we decided to catch up...? We catch up a few times and share bits of our sorrows I also sounded tat I too have an interest in her...but all this would not only affect the two us...but rather 4 people... tricky huh...should we follow our heart or not...Originally posted by cool_elf:No.... things are always easier when both parties are single, or even one party is single, rather than both are not single and having tat bit of interest towards each other, just like in me case.
