Where times are bad but there is an increase in the guy's salary, can a guy still go to court to adjust the maintenance order downwards? I've wondered about this but I hear it's possible.Originally posted by Devil1976:They'll still have to backdate and pay up.. If time is bad, they can always ask for an adjustment in maintenance order accordingly..
The LAST thing you would wanna do is to TEST the patience of a JUDGE...![]()

Curiosity. Overheard some people saying that there'd been a spate of judge/s decisions with lawyers involved where they'd been given "special treatment" even though their cases were weaker and if they'd been not been lawyers those decisions might not have been made. Doesn't sound right to me ...Originally posted by Devil1976:Who?
Well... Being a lawyer himself does puts him on a better edge in the sense that he might know the system better... But knowing the system better would also means that he shouldn't be making 'stupid' suggestions to the judge?
As I've said, it'll depends alot on how he put it across and how the particular judge sees it?
Why are you asking so much about all these...?![]()
