Yes...the companionship is important. Knowing that there will be always someone there to support you emotionally when you need it...is happiness. It is both sad and painful to carry all the emotional burden by yourself and having a partner who can give you advice or lend you a listening ear is important in your life. Having somebody to love and knowing that you will be appreciated in return in also equally important as it will brings you emotional satisfaction.
The world is definitely more beautiful when you see and experience it with another person. And having a partner is important as it will completes you.

ultimately its important to me, but its not impt to me to MUST have a partner now. instead, it only becomes important when u've found the right one for u.

hmmmm yeah i feel that having a partner is quite impt, someone for u to love, someone to talk to, someone whom u can relate to very closely, but just like what Q said, there are bad sides too, but overall it's still good to have one

Yes, someone always there for me, helping & comforting me. Someone u can share all yr troubles & secrets, the good & the bad times, the one to give u children & companionship in old age.
Only if u are unable to find anyone who can give u happiness, then it is alright to be single. Don't rush, take your time. -

perhaps like wat gerrykoh says, it depends. better to wait for someone compatible than to have someone who is incompatible. -

You can be single if you wan to.. if you feel that there's the kind of life you wan to live in.. but however, when circumstances come like having a partner.. is important.. as both have to commit themselves in the r/s.. and let it run as smooth as possbile.. it's both responsibilities to uphold and maintain a good relationship..
Important or not.. is up to individual.. some ppl think they needed one.. to share their physical, emotional, and spiritually needs.. Some dun.. they chose to be single.. carefree life of living..

but how rare is it to find that special someone.....
many times, it's either you love that person more or vice versa....

when someone closest to you breaks your trust, it's almost impossible to gain it back....
piece of advice to all out there, never break your partner's heart.

U get ur fair share of yes n no... most ppl will say can forgive but deep in their heart, at the back of their mind, they nvr forget the betrayal.
As for me, I 'll rather let go even if the feelings r still strong. There must b a reason for the betrayal in the 1st place, it might b due 2 her or me but it no longer matters. U don't have 2b together even if u still love her, as long as she is happy. -
