Does looks really matters to gals?

Got 1 guy i managed to know him for many years..
kept on complaining about his looks..say he not yandao etc etc
say he no gf coz he look ugly..
haiz wish u all could help him..sigh..
now he's taking bodybuilding to build up his image..
i think prolly is becuz of self esteem problems.. -

Girls like guys with confidence la. If bodybuilding will build up his confidence so be it.
Of coz there is the gold digger kind who don't care how you look like and only at your pocket. -

and for guys,yeah,i agree wif elindra,confidence is important,only he himself can set his mind to however n watever he wants to think of himself
Good looks (not me lar) also have cons wat,they draw unwanted attention when they really (at times)dun like it,especially sexual advances -
Actually we r all guilty of judging a person by how he/she looks, at least sub-consciously. hahaha.....even if u say dun mind, it may not be the case.

Ya i know of gals who say they go for character, looks dun matter etc etc... but nv will they date a guy they deemed ugly.
I hav a gd fren for many yrs, who always lament that he can't gt a gf cause of his looks... i honestly think its true.
Amongst my peers, its always the better lookin who gt attached first & even aft breakin up, they find another soon.
But there are always exceptions... as u see in the street, there are always beautiful gals with ugly guys & vice versa.
Ultimately, its ur inside that counts... but to go beyond the 1st step may prove so overwhelming for many. -

Nobody is perfect.. So wat if he build up his body.. but face still won't change.. what's the point.. if the gals that he likes.. really lokk based on his face.. even though he has a good body.. the face stil cannot make it..
Is not physically that he needs to improve.. is the inner self of him! He needs to build up more confidence in himself.. Ask him to dare to look into the mirror and said to himself that he's handsome, good looking.. Smile and be proud.. if he can do that.. he will definitely have much more confidence in presenting himself anyway.. Is rather kind of rubbish that saying that one self is not as good looking as others.. Jus be cos they couldn;t get a gf..
True love isn;t like that.. if you are jus looking for someone jus to show and prove that even though i'm ugly.. i have gf.. so what about you? True love is not easy to come by.. To find someone who can really share with you.. Is hard too.. Wake him up and tell him.. God is fair.. he may not be good looking.. but he may have other talents that others don't have!
Peer encourgament does help too.. Boost his ego.. boost his faith.. his confidence.. his security..
