Is there a good future to be an engineer?

i was wondering if they'd be badly hit by changing economy models, such as when manufacturing jobs migrate to china and india.. i know engineers get a high starting pay.. but that's the end of the perks is it?

Yes. Engineers do get a very bright future. But that also means what kind of engineer you are and also which industry you are working for.
Mechanical Engineers working in the Aerospace Industry who has certs as Tech Experts and Engine release certifications command big pay packets. (5 digit)
Some engineers work for 3-5 years in a tech environment then do a post grad in Finance or MBA and then move on to a management position and with a little bit of luck and lots of hard work, make it to become a CEO some day.
Bio Science Engineers should be doing good for the next few years. Coz afterall, Singapore is working towards becoming a health sc hub and so will / have attracted foreign companies to invest here.
Whatever it is, there will always be jobs for an engineer and there are lots of possibilities to branch to the business worlds as well.

Looking back, I can tell you that Engineers has the most flexible future. It covers more practical topic when you start your working life. This is true even if you decide not to be an engineer later.
But of course, if you already know what you want to be, then maybe you do not need the flexibility. -

Now, no longer engineer get good pay liao.
Most of them do more but got pay less... depend on where they work, of cos.
one thing for sure, engineer can be tiring one cos they gonna make things work around that ppl think cannot. Hahaha...

Depends on which field of engineering you study and the industry you are working in laa.... I am from Mechanical Engineering and currently working in manufacturing, QA line... can't really say its the end for engineers...
every job has its pros and cons...
just study what really interest you and look for a job that really interest you too...
it would be a torture to study or work as something you dun like... -
and also make sure you will excel in whatever you do...
thats more important than something which you think might havea gd future...
especially nowadays everything is changing so fast....
be adaptable... -
Yo!!!! I'm an engineer for 4years liao, quite luck or maybe not lucky,
I got a very good boss, who never had any temper, pay quite alright.
But the prospect wise is so so only. To achieve 5 digit, i think needs another 10 years to GO OR NEVER.
Basically, my potential was being limited. Have your ever asked yourself this qn, how much you really worth?
Seriously it all depends, who you met, the books you read and the show you watch, that makes you someone today.
So the company you choose or industry you choose is really very crucial. Else you be like me, wasting 8 to 9 hours daily of your life and exchange for a $3000plus. You decide!
That why last year i decided to venture out, i start my own biz, and go for courses that strengthen my soft skills, i a total different person now!
The best thing is i decide how much $$$ i want to earn per month!!

i can design sanitary napkins that haas got build in vibrator and all kinds of scent underneath the moisture absorption are oof the pad itself so that men will be atttracted to women even during their heavy days man
