Do people believe in fate & destiny? Well, to me.. I believe in... I know that a true love relationship comes need fate and destiny.. It is a feeling, where we can't see but we can sense the love that has come through our mind... Let think, 3 million of people in this world, why do we choose that person to be our stead among the others? Well, it is all because of fate and destiny... A true love contain of trust, feeling, character and attitude... I agree with it.. Looks and age does not matter as people will change.. But the most important in a love relationship is our feeling.. Fate and destiny is a chance, a luck that is given from the god.. We can't predict our future life but the god above knows.. 19 years of life, every love relationship I have is fate & destiny that bring me in... Though words can't explain the real meaning of fate & destiny, but in life, actions and feelings will explain the real meaning of fate & destiny... I believe in it and I always feel that fate & destiny is a chance that is given from the god above....

Most relationships are bonds created from our previous incarnation. Although some new bonds are forge this lifetime. (Had a Scorpio good friend who had weak/zero previous astrological bonds with then-bf. Quarrels easily split them and it did) Relationship includes friendship, parents, or anyone with have connection with. I have a good share of fated scenario, in which most people would say 'it only happened in shows.'
Shows are created by human and plots are written by people.

Really find all this astrology stuff very the profound. Considering the fact that the stars and planets are millions of light years away and somehow have a effect on us.
Character analysis based on celestial influence I can accept.
But, I dun quite believe in fate or destiny.
I believe in choice, free-will. -

I believe it is a combination of both ... fate/destiny and the choices we make at each point in our lives. Sometimes, what u wish for in love / life may not materialise even though we try so hard to make it happen (ie. making choices to achieve that goal). Sometimes, things just fall into place even though you made no conscientious effort for it to happen. (you might attribute this to fate / destiny etc)
If you look back into your life carefully, I am sure you will find instances whereby you are where you are now because of a combination of the above.
If you want to let nature take its own course, then let it be. If you feel something needs to be done, then just do it (make a choice / decision). -

I believe in choice, free-will. Western astrology believes in free will. Our planetary influence is but influences from the stars. At the end of the day - we are the master/mistress of our own fate. Bonds are not fated - they are created from ourselves and the actual reality of meeting or fostering of relationship is free will.

Fate and destiny are revolving ard us all the while, even the friends we make. Some of us manage to be friends attending the same sch... while some others you get to find thru internet forums (like sgforums) And there are others where you never get the chance to know in singapore and its only when we are overseas together, then we get to be friends.
Singapore is considered small, the virtual world is so much bigger. Fate decides how and when you will meet your friend or true love... dun despair or lose faith in it. Love will find its way to you. -

Very curious. It works both ways my dear friend. fated to meet, freewill on what you can do with them.
Relationship are born of two grounds - benefic/karmic. Benefic relationship are seen around - like your best friend or someone you feel so good with emotionally (or spiritually in some case) that hardly any conflicts would ever spring up or even if they do, they can't damage the core of your bonds. They existed because of the harmonious attitude we have foster in the past. (Or the present if such bonds ain't available and FreeWill is employ to consciously keep the relationship well and intact)
Karmic relationship are usually our debt relationship. Because of our own personality flaws and attitude, many a times, life would force we to move to certain areas of our life we detest to go, face issue we subconsciously hated. Karmic relationship are steps for us to reached there. No possessive person will ever learn the destructive nature of possessiveness unless reality cuts and bleed them badly because of it.
Ever heard 'Every relationship is a step to our final goal?' Each steps is hidden with lesson and there are times when we rejected the lessons and resist learning. History repeats and we rant about our ill-fated love life when in fact, the problem came from us. You may think 'Hey, but it's our partner not us...' CloUdiSm Remix III and studies has shown:

- You chose a jerk, you accept them, you accept what's in store for you.

What u have written reminds me of a book I read sometime back. The book is 'If Life Is A Game, These Are The Rules'.
In it, there's a rule 'Lessons will be repeated until learned'.
It mention there's this guy who hates traffic jam and is always get fustrated when caught in one when he drives to work.
Lesson presented to him is 'patience'. If he did not learn to be patient, he will be presented with this scenario again and again. Fustrations day in day out.
The day that he sees thru this is the day that the traffic jam do not bother him anymore.

i believe whether you have the chance to even meet the special someone is fated. all things else depend on you two, eg how do you maintain the relationship, choose never to cheat and always be faithful.
i am very awed by the concept of the so many people out there that are suitable for you, and the even fewer you will feel a special connection between your heart and his. i am a hopeless romantic. i believe that if you were meant to be, you would meet. the problem is, will you know you are meant for each other when you do meet eventually? sometimes cupid wants to shoot you both but missed.
singapore may be small, but its cosmopolitan. that means we don't just have a choice of a few hundred thousand. travel. discover the world out there. shape your own philosophy. and hopefully you'll find someone who shares the same dreams. it is a lovely feeling when you have found (and continue to be with) someone with whom you can share your dreams with. someone who understands your pain, your happiness, and of course you understand the person too. -
hmmm, slot of ppl met n fell in lov in times, but however, who hav married ur 1st lov, always together til the end...yes, fate brings 2 persons together but both must communciate n thru all the ups n downs..i dun really lik the word destiny coz i believe everyone shld try their sbest to acheive wat they wan, of coz it dun sound easy but at least giv a try, dun "surrender" urself to so-called ur destiny...
