Anyway this law is applicable for the first impact love - not neccessary the first relationship a woman has.

In MOST CASES, a LOVE RELATIONSHIP would comprise of someone:
1. Loving LOVE ITSELF.
2. Loving the other partner.
But in human's world, there're MANY 'Pseudo-love' Relationships.. For examples..
1. Someone in love with an 'image'. Because that person is being reminded of an idol or an EX... etc.
2. Someone maintaining a 'love' relationship for mutual reasons (alone & without love ingredient in it)
3. Someone maintaining a 'love' relationship for fulfilment of certain desires (e.g. sex or materialistic needs)
4. Someone maintaining a 'love' relationship for social reasons. eg. Pressure from people around him / her, political reason(s) etc.
The list can GO ON....

A woman rejected a man whom showed interest in her, only to find herself falling for him in later stage of life.
The strong attraction at this stage is under this Law: 'A woman never forgets the men she could have had; A man, the women he couldn't ' activated and could jolly well bring them back into the past, if neither of them decide to exercise conscious effort to move on and willing to come together. This is a two way influence of love - a rejected man longs for a woman he didn't have, and a woman, a man she could have.
Go through some old topic in AA and you will find very similar case regarding to the above example.

One of the top ten reason why people cannot commit because they are in love with a fantasy figure. This illusionary avatar spawn from their experience and technically speaking, you can never dispel them. You can enter a relationship having someone very similiar, however when reality sinks into the relationship, you will retreat because reality and fantasy are two worlds apart.
In their fantasy - everything is happiness and good by default. In reality, happiness is earned, not gained. This truth is hard to digest mentally and people often resist it - thus ending relationship, thinking that the other partner is not suitable or isn't someone they are looking for ultimately. Comparison is very common in this case.
You can't dispel your experience. We keep good memories, sometimes more than bad ones consciously. (Bad ones are pushed to the unconscious). Depending on how it affects his/her love life, one has to alter according to reality, if he/she wants to be contented.
