Is Coolair EDS really that "cheap" or does it suffer from quality control problems?
I see some of the Coolair EDSes, some of the LED bulbs seems to be fading, and some data can't be displayed (route info becomes an orange block of orange).

i feel it is QC-related
Some question of Service 27 when it was pile from Sengkang and Hougang to Airport.
1. when it was diverted from Tampines to Sengkang in 2001, it was like HGDEP/BNDEP control and it uses mostly Scania N113 and Mark 3 right? and at that time the demand was tat crowded?
2. when was 27 full HGDEP?
3. When it was diverted to Hougang in 2002, it has perm full fleet Mark 3 am i right lol. plus the demand become higher but not so crowded like now?
4. in 2004-2005, the Mark 3 swopped for Mark 4 maybe becoz of the speed? and at that time the demand is getting higher and higher?
5. from 2005/6 - present, the demand of Service 27 is very crowded like hell!!
6. finally, by end of 2008 (or maybe eariler), it has FULL Scania K230UB fleet!! but not to mention the demand! Woah!!

so fit that's the case, i think we can predict modifications for the front/side/rear to fit in Hanover EDSes or something?
The Coolair EDSes seems like it's gonna blow a bulb any other day.

not sure abt Sv 22 in the past.
sv25- got MBO305, then VO3x (9275-9284 if i am remember correctly + 9219/9220 and some other)
sv 26 -got MB0305, VO3x (9592-9596 for a short period).
Just wanna ask. according to Singapore Bus Trivia @ sgwiki
> Service 115 is the trunk service that has the least buses deployed (1 Bus)
so does svc 11 counted as the other trunk svc that have the least number deployed since it has only 888G as perm; if exclude xover.
so do i nid to include mealbreak xover?

Service 27 was extended from Tampines to Sengkang on 25 July 1999, not 2001. It was also on this day Sengkang services 864, 865 and 866 were handed from Tibs to SBST.

Service 400 and 402 also have one perm bus each, excluding crossover buses.

for 22 and 25, when was it xfered to the current amk side? came as a surprise that 22 used to be fully BN in the past. [maybe amk side didnt have enough space back in the 90s =/]
btw for bedok svcs, any reason why some of the svcs there are based at hg? history?

Bedok Int used to be dual depot controlled (bn and hg). Unsure of reason as there were'nt as many buses in bndep back then than now.
Hmm, on then TIBS handing over north-east sector to SBS in 1999 or 2000, i remember some buses (DDs on upper front windscreen) displayed the "SBS welcomes .... ", sorry, couldn't remember the full text. Anyone on this, or pics?

the euro 4, 8030L & 8031J EDS are cheena brand. They are actually very cheap compared to transit-media and hanover EDS which they are indeed better and more expensive quality compared to the coolair.

My first post and hoping someone can help me.
I am doing some research and would like to find out the emissions standardsof the Singapore Bus fleet.
I saw that 900 Euro V buses have been ordered and are coming into service, but I would liek to know how many buses are still on the road of Euro IV, Euro III, Euro II, Euro I and Pre Euro.
I want to compare the fleet profile for Singapore with the HK profile, which I suspect is much older:

Wrong,
It is a Singaporean company with a JV in China.
