T1; 1832 hrs
In fact, all bus service roughly stop at T2 (generic) for 5 minutes or so,
May those schedule experts answer your question better
No breaktime is given for 163 drivers. If the 5 min break as what u said is given, the driver has to go to the office to tap card twice before his next trip. If drivers are early, that's where the so-called 5 min break comes in. normally the service leader would loosen the run time in the tpy int section so that drivers who are late can catch up and depart tpy on time if traffic conditions are not very adverse.

I guess thats the reason why i sometimes see 163s stopping before the 163 berth and the BC getting out and resting in the bus for a short period.

Hougang areas was all the while under HGDEP controlled. If I remembered correctly service 74 and 165 were among a few Hougang services under AMDEP. Only in Mar 1998 SBS standarlised 74 and 165 to be under HGDEP. St Michael's routes went under AMDEP in return.
Service 132 was also under AMDEP in the past with LO3x and Merc 0405s. It came under HGDEP only in Apr 1997, that was when VO2x and VO3x were deployed on service 132, together with occasional Volvo MK3s and MK4s.

What I know about service 163 drivers is that they get off only at Sengkang interchange to tap their cards and go for a break. At Toa Payoh the driver will just stop for a while before they pick up passengers and head towards Sengkang. No monitoring system at Toa Payoh interchange.
Which SMRT bus model for sale?Is it the Lances and Hinos?Still going on for now?

Bro,WL to BB is quite far.If you say CCK then acceptable cause there are few short cut routes to CCK from WL.I was hoping that 190 is dual between KJ @ WL.927 full WL.Even a few WL 61 SL complaining that BB is far from WL.

how can you explain WL service leaders can reach Boon Lay within half an hour?
and my decision still stands

Then KJDEP SLs can reach BNL by 26 mins how?Whatever decision is your choice,This is just my opinion.I never say that you're totally wrong.Forum here is to learn. If you think i'm wrong then be it!
A situation actually:
Was onboard SBS 8187T on SV 133 (AMDEP 133) back home frm victoria st to serangoon.
The bus skipped lavender st (after kallang rd); and thn driver use the "machine" (Sorry forget the name for it) and send a " Bus Overload" msg to OCC.
why is it so?

Even faster if they use KJE
i have a feeling that W'lands SLs use BKE to reach boon Lay though
wonder if tibs had any plans to build a depot nearer to cck bt panjang and bt batok back then instead of KJ... cos it seems kind of out of place

Maybe KJ lease is much more cheaper?BTW KJ very dusty.Maybe can venture BBT industrial area near SBST depot there...Either AM or KJ need to relocate to a multi storey if they wanna fleet addition
