For service 20, another new link to Tampines from Simei, and it is expected after all to link the Changi Business Park roads...but lately many BSEP services are plying roads with no bus stops serving those areas.
the old sv141 got pass by farrer park area?

LTA already that they want shorter route..... easier to control the timing etc... further there are MRT and also other buses to eunos....
New Loyang bus depot? More for PSR svc?
New bus depot to be built off Loyang Ave
A new bus depot off Loyang Avenue will be built and the Land Transport Authority (LTA) is calling a tender on Wednesday to invite contractors to submit their cost proposals to build the facility.
This is the second depot that LTA is developing and funding as part of the review of the enhanced structural assistance that the government is providing to the bus industry announced in the Committee of Supply 2012.
The Loyang depot is intended for SBS Transit Ltd to house the additional buses that it is bringing in over the next few years. When completed by 2015, the new bus depot will accommodate about 500 buses.
It will be equipped with facilities for daily bus operations, bus repair or maintenance and a rest area for bus drivers. LTA says the bus depot will be handed over to the operator for outfitting and preparatory works before operations begin.
Last month, LTA had invited a tender for the first bus depot to be built off Wenya in Jurong West. This depot is scheduled to be ready by 2013 and is intended for SMRT Bus Ltd.

BNDEP can be demolished and build industrial buildings.

Yes...mentioned in the 1984 bus guide. Could have been amended between 1984 and 1986 to skip the area itself...

sv141 is a semi-express sv to CBD from toa payoh.. i dun think it go into farrer park area at all? unless u r saying somewhere near KK hospital area....
some update... now it seem like that there are only 4 regoless citaros in amdep and 6 new regoless wrights have join in instead..... so high chance that sv141 should be partially using Wright as well.? unless all the wrights are for other BSEP bus services?

I don't think 141's route can accommodate DDs since it travels via Pei Ko Estate where 131 plies. It will have to do with Citaros, unless the low hanging branches have been taken off.

Lor 1 Geylang can accommodate, Kentish Green, Pei Ko Estate cannot. I would be surprised if 141 gets DDs. While the route is nicely designed along areas where there are fewer bus services (Toa Payoh Rise, Lor 1 Toa Payoh, Owen Road, Rangoon Road), I am not sure if the loading will be DD necessary.

I was expecting news of a new depot for SBST since they mentioned one for SMRT but I thought it would be more near Punggol considering the development of this area, and relieve some load off Hougang.

Agree.
New Service 951E From Woodlands St 82 - CBD
No poster out at SMRT website yet.
Believed to be introduced around 3 weeks later.
The Frontline Connect episode earlier on public transport debate listed 2 instances of bus under-provisions of an E502 driving off at the bus stop w/o looking out for passengers flagging the bus at Orchard Rd & a wait of 20 mins for a S27 to arr. in CGA at night...
