sorry just to clarify again, does C9L9 personel need to recourse? what kinda injury/medical condition qualifies for C9L9?Originally posted by Gordonator:if u are downgraded to PES C. then u will need to go for a PES C BMT recourse sometime before u ORD. u will excused some stations.
1.) If the person completed and PASSED his BMT course then dun need to recourse liao. This applicable to those who downgrade after BMT.Originally posted by viger:sorry just to clarify again, does C9L9 personel need to recourse? what kinda injury/medical condition qualifies for C9L9?
the reason why im asking the first question is because some of my friends have completed the first 2 weeks confinement and hence have cleared the weapon handling tests (IA, stripping, assembling etc) before going OOC.
thanks in advance for the replies
lol, i agree with you on this - that there are so many chao kang-ers out there. thanks for answering my questions, i believe it is of much help to the new-to-ns people.Originally posted by octega:1.) 2.) If the person completed but FAILED his BMT then recourse is a must.
3.) If the person OOC during BMT and downgrade. Then yes, u must go for recourse. Yes, even those OOC just before the POP. No choice.
This is because, u neber complete and pass ur BMT.
I am no Medical Officer, therefore, I cannot answer ur "what kinda injury/medical condition qualifies for C9L9"
Frankly, even if I knew, I also wouldn't post it here. Too many kengsters liao.
Will you be excuse for some of the test during BMT?
This depends on your company. On most cases, u will not, especially for weapon handling.
L2 is field deployable , whereas L3 is not.Originally posted by be_a_man:i know that for PES C..the L-code got 4 types..
L1- means almost similar to pes B
L2- able to bear firearms and operate in filed env. can be deployed in unit hq but nt direct combat
L3 - able to bare firearms and protect themselves/other/property. can be deployed in MSA or service support
L9 - means most prolly clerical
Question:
I dont understand the diff of l2 n l3. What are the main diff of L2 n L3?
coz im in L3.
u can refer to page 1 of this thread to clarify your doubts.Originally posted by be_a_man:i know that for PES C..the L-code got 4 types..

Please do take a look at page 1 on ur PES. Yes, PES C2L9 need to do reservist.Originally posted by chengl:hi.. think i downgraded to C2L9..can u tell me more wat's this about ? do i have to do reservist ?
1.) Clerk or storeman. <=which is self-explaintory liao. Other than the vocation work, u also subjected to ur unit's regiment orders such as orderly duties.Originally posted by heeddy:I have a few questions here..
1) What are the usual vocation and task for a NSman who's PES E9L9 (rock bottom)?
2) If i have a uni degree in a specialization field (eg; computing) can I request for a relevant vocation even I'm PES E9 L9?
3) What is allowance for those graded E9L9?
4) Hours and working days?
Thanks...

Wait for the Medical outcome. Dun except high chance with ur medical history.Originally posted by Nuad:hello, i am a new user. i have been a "lurker" in this forum for some time, and i need help.
im going in september. and i have been to my medical checkup. i had no problems.. until i reached the anthro station where they tested my blood pressure and they suspect it is high. im now PES D and going in for another confirmation test next month.
i am fit, and can get a gold or at least a silver for my napfa. and this condition is mainly hereditary and possibly aggravated cos im a premature baby. (undeveloped blood vessels?) its about 140-150/90-100 (bp) (pretty high)
this might sound crazy, but i want to get into a combat unit, and i don't want to become a clerk or a storeman.
also i hope that i can get a A or B so i can have any chance at signing on as a pilot.
sigh.
does anyone know where HPB condition PES will be? can get at least a C1?
and if so where can i go with a C1?
thanks
Martin, I thought u PES E already?Originally posted by martin_lim85:will i be downgraded after i ORDed if i always hospitalised during NSF period??? just came back fron hospital admissilon. second time this year

Although, most MOs I come across always "ASSUME CHOW KENG UNTIL PROVEN SICK", so if u are geniue with condition, the MO will most likely go-by-the-book.
C1 will most likely post to technical vocations such as technician, armourers, etc or service vocations such as clerk, storeman, etc.
pes E1L9 still got to go back for ict after ORDOriginally posted by octega:Martin, I thought u PES E already?
I am not sure abt this but if the medical condition warrants a periodic medication/check up. I dun think SAF will call u up after u ORD for the obvious reasons: Too expensive liao and furthermore, (this is my thinking only), u are a liability to them more than an asset.Originally posted by martin_lim85:pes E1L9 still got to go back for ict after ORD
First, I am not a MO, the best person to answer ur qns will be ur G.P. Ur G.P. (the male lot) are mostly MO during their NS time, so u can check with them.Originally posted by fullspectrumwarrior_mark:Hi. Please help me with my questions.
-I have fractured my arm when i was little.
-My records shows that i have asthma but i dont remember an attack
-My feet is a bit flat
But i can do a lot of active activities and i have no problems with my fitness.
1.So would i be posted to combat unit in ns?
2.Can i request to the MO to put me in "xiong" units?
3.If i were to really put into an easy unit, can i request to be posted to combat units?
4.If above fails or im posted into easy units, can i be an combat specialist for 5 years?
Thanks... would be waiting for your reply
