I remembered I recived a letter from MINDEF about the Exit Permit a few months ago. Does this mean I will be posted to the Army for NS? Just asking, beacause I really want to be posted to SPF for NS.

last time before my NS, i also hoping to be in police NS
but after i enter SAF for my ns, i realised our police is a joke.
Their standard is nowhere near us. You can say they operated in different situation, but i still think SAF is for men, SPF is for boys.
Actually SPF (even SAF and SCDF) doesn't have enough regulars in the organisation. Or should I say we don't have enough regulars as uniformed servicemen.
You don't have a say how/where you want to serve your National Service liability, only the government does. If you are really interested in working in the SPF, the only "guaranteed" option is - SIGN ON.
u can't choose which organisation u go to. Unless your father is LHL

yes.. army standard and spf is great different... eg their obstacle course and the endurance run standard is widely different.. but in army the rules is simple.. achieve the objective at whatever cost... but police need to study many rules and laws.. and their rules of engagement is not so simple............
