They've imposed a PR quota (less Malaysian). You should go HDB and find out whether is it filled.

Okay, at least that's a sign that the property market is starting to cool off.....
Otherwise, let's face it..... It's a self-perpetuating cycle: suckers fall for the exorbitant prices, encouraging the homeowners to continue to rip off suckers, the suckers continue to get ripped off, and so on....
It all only ends when the suckers all wake up their bloody ideas and realize that they're all getting fleeced. Then and only then will the property owners realize that there are no more suckers for them to fleece, causing them to reduce prices.
Singapore's current property market really reminds me of the Tulip Mania of Holland in the 1600s.

short-sighted behaviour on a few, but many others just fleece the PRs.. then they move to nicer digs on the outskirts just a couple of km away...
or throw in some more money to buy condos...

It is called..... 'not looking at the big picture'.
It's just like how lots of car owners only saw 'COE prices are dropping' without accounting for 'ERP charges are rising' in their purchase of a car.
But yeah, so long as there are suckers for them to fleece, they might as well just give it a shot.... in the worst case scenario, they'll just have to reduce prices when no one wants to pay such high prices..... ![]()

now at SC ppl start accusing MIW of collecting more from e COE spike. Actually if everyone bid higher only MIW benefits.
But then again w/ tighter quota, prices would still go up.

there are way too many condos in the market at the moment... due to people trying to fleece others too.. there are many speculators out there trying to flip units..
