  Sliced through most of her thumb with a X-acto blade in the furniture studio... it's been stitched up but the doctor told that the tip had died.

  It doesn't help when you can imagine it. I'd be sick every day if it happened to me.

  that's terrible... i hope she'll be okay

  there was someone in my BMT platoon who suffered a deep cut on his thumb.. it didn't heal and got infected badly.. and he ended up losing the top part of his thumb.. he only had half a thumbnail left by the time everything was healed up...

  When it rains, it pours..... both literally and metaphorically....

  First, because of the heavy rain, my pants got really wet.... luckily I still have my spare set of pants that I keep in my drawer....

  Then, the tuition kid's mother SMS-ed me and told me that her daughter doesn't want tuition any more. The mother is not answering to my phone calls and SMSes. 

  Getting fired after just one session, and via SMS at that.... must be a new record.....
