Yeah! For some strange reason, I'm quite scared of our MRT...
It's too cold, steely and surgical for me. And worse, all the passengers look angry and pissed and ready to snap and go postal. ![]()

There are TV ads in my part of the world advertising cheap MIC station wagons.
Think the car manufacturer's called "Great Wall" or something! ![]()

I remembered venturing into NTU during YOG. Those NTU shuttle buses though shorter could not even do a proper U turn compared to SBS's 12m Scania near e admin bldg.
Turning's not the problem. The road is only just wide enough for 1 vehicle in each direction, with a solid divider in places. If 2 school buses pass each other there's no space between them to even squeeze a motorcycle.

If I were rich, I would get one of the DC-10 engines installed, and then pretend I'm sky-diving.![]()

you're gonna hate it even more these days...
just ask the people who take it on a daily basis around in this forum... they'll describe the experience with obscenities at best... and you don't wanna hear them describe their worse experience..

It's anytime much much safer than travelling on the trains here! I spent the last year and a half travelling a total of 3-4 hours each workday on trams and trains and sometimes buses too and I tell you, the trains here are only recently safer because of increased police presence. I'm so glad I no longer have to take trains late at night after work though!
it's basically a normal fan in the "support beam" and it squeezes the "wind" out through small ducts in the circle...

I've not gone to the shops to experience the demo. Is it really hopeless? The science mags reviewing it seem to heap praises on this 'marvel'. ![]()

people will pay for asthetics. but I'll take it if it blows as much air as a normal fan, uses as much electiricity and costs less than 10 dollars more than the normal el cheapo but good fan
