abt a topic on single singapore men who went visit prositudes overseas all these and didn't get a wife because first no look secondly they don't earn much that's why they are single . that also reflects how materealistic singapore girls are . Before they go dating with you , they will secretly check your background like how much you earn a month , have a car or not , how much you have in the bank etc...before saying yes . To most girls MONEY COMES FIRST , THEN LOOKS , THEN LOVE . For me I will try to find an exception who does not goes for these but I guess it's kinda hard to impossible . Anyway , if can't find a girl which is most likely , I just spend abt few thousands dollars to buy a beautiful bride from overseas anyway what I need is satisfy my sexual needs only . Why god make men to have high sex drive but why you also create illness like HIV , herpes , other STDs . So good if there is no such illness , if really no aids all these I go geylang and play everyday liao and no need to buy a bride from overseas liao different face and different stunt at geylang . I will buy a pretty bride if I cannot find a girl by 30 yrs old .

what I say it's true 99% of the girls in sg are like that . I don't blame them because this is how they are brought up . If you are a lowly paid worker and low education perhaps PSLE do you think a girl with degree will even take a glance at you ? Fat hope no way .

i also think it's sad that most people are like that nowadays..... i'm not very particular but i would like to make sure that my partner is prepared to take care of me.
educational background isn't very important to me. more important is when u start working, whether u are hardworking or not... whether u can bring home enough to at least support urself, if not both of us. if onli can support 1, i can go work also mahz.
sad to say, it's really tough to be together if there are monetary/background problems...... -
Well that is life bro....but not all gals are like that...i would say i am not...to me as long as you treat me well and good and you are the type who are willing to work hard...i do not mind working hard together with the guy to have a comfortable life in the future...i am sure you as a guy would not want your wife to suffer forever wiht you rite??

ya lah I don't want my future wife to suffer with me but when good times they will be with you but when suffering time , very likely divorce is on the way . I realised that girls keep saying I don't need men to take care of me this and that but in the end also still depend on men . Because men are the dominant species . A very good example do you see a GOOD country being run by women being a president ? they keep saying they dont need men to take care of them, and they are independant and productive at work. but when they wanna decide on a marriage partner, they want their hubby to foot the bills. I'm guessing they are either hypocrits who don't know what tthey are talking about or they are juz too fickle minded to even know what they want.
All they want are the goodies. Let all the responsibilities, duties and obligations be taken care of by the men.

It's not a uniquely Singaporean female trait.
Men seem shallow when they choose women who are pretty and have good figures. But they're not - as it turns out, men choose the way they do because we have been programmed through millions of years of evolution to get mates who will bear good children. Of course this is a generalisation - but a pretty accurate one, that's why men this way.
Women who are healthier have better figures. Not shallow, just wired that way.
Women on the other hand look for mates who can take care of them and their off spring. So they look for men who can provide and who will hang around to provide for the family ... the only way they can guage this is to see how much we have accomplished. Of course, they also want to know if we will hang around and be faithful ... but that's after they find one who fits the bill first.
So to a China bride, they see the Singapore guy as someone who will better provide for them when compared to the local China men.
You kid yourself by thinking that you're getting a girl with better morals in the China girls - they're exactly the same - it's very relative.
BUT - it's not a bad thing - they're just wired that way. -

I can say alot and alot of singaporeans are working like hell just to make ends meet . That also explains why birth rate is dropping drastically . Yes I know chinese are very practical let's say if you have a dream to be maybe an pianist , artist , bodybuilder or a dancer , most chinese will say it's not practical . and you think the girl will find a guy who chase after his dreams ? They would say in their mind , when you sucess then come and look for me . If not pls stay away from me . They would say these are not practical . why ? let me tell you why singaporeans are living on the edge to make ends meet because alot are thinking in the box they will follow the crowd for example after your studies , you go work then earn a living then find a wife give birth to children and the life cycle continues for decades . if its any normal guy who study hard all his life, become some boring accountant, so naturally he'll find some other boring girl to suit him and they can have a normal yuppie life together. yeah lots of those too.
i mean i know life is very contradicting. i have a stupid dream. i decided to pursue it. my whole family and even my bf think im stupid coz i might end up with no monies. but i decided to push for it. now, all my family respect me and support me. you just need to show them you have the determination to do it and put up with the hardship.
anyway, even though now im so called pursueing my dream, but of course i also worry that i wont earn monies right? ok lah.. must be FLEXIBLE. cannot be TOO idealistic. sometimes must sell my soul and work for some evil corporation. who knows. try to change the world from the inside
