R&B starts ard 12 plus 1 wat on sat. go early get tables? hahaha....i never thought that would still be possible with so many ppl calling the managers early for table. I went there on Wed, and found that the place really changed a lot... and I mean the crowd... Usually... Weds and Sats are the most crowded days... and by 9, there would be queues forming outside... I went there on Wed at 9... and there was no queue!!! At all!!! And to make things worse, it's no more 8 -10 free for guys... Argh... never go there for 2 months, change so much...
The crowd there was like all 18 yr olds... I felt old sia... Really very different to the first time I went there at the start of the year... The crowd then was older... Most of them in the VIP area were older... those who came after work... This time... it was all kids... Everywhere I turn... I see guys who look like they haven't even entered NS... got some girls... look only 15!! WTH!! Got one girl.... got drunk at about 10 plus!! I'm like.. hah? so early drunk already ah? Worse thing is that I saw her getting carried to the toilet at least 3 times in 2 hours.... Cannot hold your liquor then don't drink so much mah... cannot control sia...
That day was also the day I saw the most number of people dancing like retards... They think humping the rear of a gal dancing is cool... I think it looks damn perverted... esp when the girl is ignoring you...
Hai~... ChinaBlack used to be a good place to club... but I guess the standard really dropped a lot... Time to find somewhere else... Hrm... Zouk or Dbl O? hehe... -

well, i was there too! The tickets were $16 for gals n $17 for guys. Only raised a few dollars. Anyway, got in for free.
Not veri packed lah. A lot of small boi n gals thou.... some of gals look veri young n blurr.

Chinablacks sucks big time.
Alcohol in singapore is overpriced.
Drinks at zouk are insanely priced.
And oh, people at chinablack call themselves "clubbers" when they're not. -

I think China black losing quite a lot liao... cos the big spenders don't go there anymore... last time, it was the norm to see ppl at the VIP section buying drinks by the jug and bottle... and by bottle, I mean XO and others...
Nowadays, it's all the young ppl there... all at most just buy by jug... They even changed the glasses to plastic ones for ladies during ladies night...
Used to see all 3 bars open everytime I went there... now, it's only 2... guys still have to pay between 8-10 on ladies night, $12 cover... last time, it was still free... and by last time, I mean 2 months ago...
Guess dropping the age limit to 18 wasn't such a good idea in the long run... -

if i'm not wrong the plastic blue glasses are only for ladies on ladies nite. this is to tell the diff from the glass ones so that guys dun drink them. they start using the plastic ones once the glass ones are all out on other days.
and i have yet to see only 2 bars open at a given time loh.
