I am Guy who used to smoke for Fun when I was a boy with my cousins during my Kampong time in SAFTI - Jurong areas. Luckily , I was not addicted . Currently , I am rather " Pissed " suffering as a "Second Hand Smoker" . I can rarely have a good breakfast at Hawker or Coffee Shop.
I am hoping the Govt. can cut the Crap to ask for Feedback as to if they shd ban smoking at this " Open Space - Hawker or Coffee Shop " . Everyone knows that it is bad for our health . So do the govt. Why the need for us to discuss this issue further just ban it at these places at least ( who cares if they ban it at Pubs where mostly smokers are attracted to this places - at least children , other non-smokers are not usually attracted to this Pubs / disco outlets ).
I don't understand why those smokers can't even stop for 30 mins to have their meal without smoking - better still blowing directly - exhaling towards their kids - as young as 6 - 8 yrs old . -Bloody Brainless Assholes .
To be frank, the govt. knew that smokers ( not even one of them ) will quit due to price hike no matter how high it goes . Only way they stop is when they are diagnosed with heart problem or cancer ( other smoke related illness). They will stop only there is no choice .
My two uncles ( smokers ) are having heart bypass & Problems still puffing away - see why I said that smokers will never quite ( majority of them )
To smokers "No Cig. will die but no food will not die "
Anyhow, to the Govt. just Ban it at least at Hawker & Coffee shop.
Smokers will still be the biggest contribution to Govt taxes collection but at the expense us " Non Smokers suffering -2nd hand smoke "
I always felt like Bringing a Industrial Powered Portable Fan with me to have my B/fast @ C/Shop so that I cld fan the smoke away so back to the smoker's table for their wifes & kids to breathe in more fair right ?????????
