Incest: Do you think it is nurture or instinct?
On my opinion (before ppl flame me), I noticed that most of the females I know always have sex with the parents (either father or both father and mother) or with their grandfather.. All of them are working adults - majority singles and the rest are married.
But I noticed that all of them are happily incesting and none ever actually complain. I watch so many and I wonder why? -

Is incest just another rule that we are told not to do but we don't know why we should do?
I would like to ask for opinion as this question has been with me for some time.
My opinion: as long as it has no impact on other people, I don't see the problem with incest. (just for argument sake) -
IMO, only animals practice incest. People mate brother and sister cattle in order to keep the gene pool within that particular species pure. We are way above the level of cattle and should not have any lewd feelings towards our mothers, sisters or daughters.

As far as i can recall that this is a reason behind each moral...(note: moral standard can vary from one place to another place. A good moral could be 'unacceptable' in another society.)
e.g. respect the elder because I would think that elder has wisdom and we should learn from them.
(although nowadays youngster tends not to respect elder anymore) -
I believe that incest is Nurture...
In the past the royal families or those of the very rich during pre-medieval times ( i can't remember the exact time frame) practice incest since it preserves the family fortune/bloodline/etc... But those are normally between cousins.. seldom between close family like siblings etc...
Nowadays incest is condemned... for many reasons such as genetic ones like down's syndrome... In addition, marriage within the immediate family is also seen economically disadvantageous since the couple would not have the economic support of both family sides provided by normal marriages...
It is also instinctual as well... animals tend to practice intercourse outside the immediate family for increasing the gene pool...
Since you want to talk about it logically then these are the points -
incest is wrong. it's just like breeding your own wives/sex partners. u have daughters just so u can have sex with them. it's wrong.
