How do you feel about The United States?

I'm an American and I think this is a great country. When I see topics about abusing prisoners of war and things like that it pisses me off and I tend not to believe most of those reports.
What do you think? -

I think you're blind. When the US (government) is the self imposed police of the "FREE" world sure the hipocrasy is rampant..
US citizens are told they are" free" and yet need special permission from their own government to visit an island less than 90 miles from the US mainland !

Ya gotta relize that there isn't any perfect systems of government anywhere in the world, But as long as we (Joe Public) have the freedom to question the actions of those in power (although we seldom get a straight answer or actions)
we could be on the right trac .. Question Everything Done ,there is usually a deeper meaning in the reasoning ! (Power and Greed, nasty animal instincts that we (society) have not yet evolved beyond )

but u have to acknowledge that there are ugly things happening in your country as well. denial doesn't mean the problems go away, it means they r left to fester and grow.
i think, skid, if u want others to acknowledge that USA is a great country, u have to start by accepting USA's faults 1st. -
Me? I love the American people, but I have serious issues about the way your government is run, and how I perceive Bush to be running your society and her ideals into the ground.

Most Americans I met are nice people. It is just the way the President behaves that turns me off. In fact, quite a number of Americans I know said the voted John Kerry in the last presidential polls.

the owl is the symbol of the illuminati.. also, you have the "all seeing eye" on the pyramid... which says in (i think) Latin: New World Order, and the top bit is "we have succeeded"... pyramid in the US? hmm.. a symbol of Horus? hmmmm...
