My suggestions is:
1. Go talk to family counellor. They are more experiance.
2. First to protect your son: Insist that your son & e ger to have some written statment that it's not a Rape Case. Best is log a report in police station. But of course you "MUST" know at the time of Sex the girl is above her 16's birth day.
After this then talk about Marriage. With that statment, your son will not be charged with Rape.
Without marriage cert also can get the birth cert. Only police will question the ger if it was a rape case lor. So the Marriage is actually not really required for such case. But both the ger & your son have equal responsibility towards the baby.
You will have to help him. It's enough bad experiance for him to start off his adult life. I would recommend you to tell your son. You lent him the $ to bring up this baby for the time being only. He have to pay you back once he started earning. Also he have to immediately takeover the responsibilities upon earning $. Else you don't help him at all because it's a very serious matter & he is old enough. It does put heavy pressure onto him, he have to bear the ultimate cost for this mistake. Also make him see that you also have responsibilities towards your other kids & family member. So he cannot ask too much from you.
Other issues is you have to ban him from staying out, staying out late & further making more babies mean time. Young couple very easy have kids.
If possible make your son go work part-time. Not just that, the ger also have to be educated. Cos both made the mistake. -
