I know in the Netherlands children who have gender identity problems they are given anti androgens, up to the age of 16. When all goes well, they start taking female hormones, and eventually go for SRS at the age of 18. I also heard that hormones also help, as hormones are all about...rearranging your skin...or something like that anyway. Seriously, anyone with an irrational dislike of anyone whom they consider queer, can only be explained by the fact that deep inside, they are queer too. As such, they hate anyone queer because seeing someone queer forces them to confront their own inner demons. Real straight people have no reason to hate people who considered queer.
