hi im asking this for a friend.. believe it or not.. but anyways.. she suspects that she may be pregnant.. she's only 16 and so is the guy so if she really finds out that she's preggie then she wishes to induce a miscarraige.. she cant abort cos she's catholic and all.. so hope you people can suggest a way out for her.. i really dont wish this for her too but i think for her age.. she would ruin her future if she were to carry on with the pregnency ba.. is there any like herbs or pills or any other methods that can induce a miscarraige? thanks guys for your help.. please only serious replies thanks =)

Firstly, buy pregnancy kit check if she's pregnant. If she is, consult a doctor. Her life is at risk also, if she do the wrong thing.

u dun hav to help her...she has to help herself...should involve her parents and the guy's parents....many years later in life they will look back and teach their offsprings that sex can be fun only when they can handle the consequences...the options are clear...abort or giv birth

You think induced miscarriage is like 'pop' the baby goes into the toilet bowl and you flush it the end? Any form of incomplete pregnancy is damaging to the fertility to a woman, sometimes permanently. It's a very immature line of thought, you probably aren't much older than 16 yourself. Have you even considered the emotional consequences of abandoning one's baby especially in such an undignified manner? Escaping from religious hounding is the attitude you share with them, so it really speaks alot about your own integrity as well. Truth be told, even if i do know how to remedy the situation i'd f@#king shut it cos with your kind of maturity and your attitude, you don't deserve jack help from any of us.

its quite contradicting. firstly, bcos she is a catholic, she cant abort bcos of religion and bla bla.. then since she realised that she's a catholic, ain't they taught of no sex b4 marriage. she's not so holy afterall, so dont pretend to be holy when the consequences had surfaced.

I think she meant "self-induced" miscarriage compared to formal abortion.
I think she is thinking along the lines of making-herself-trip-and-fall-and-hope- there-is-a-miscarriage or worst getting someone to use a baseball bat and bash her tummy in (being too extreme here, but you get my drift).
Well in my humble opinion (as other ppl here in the forum too), your friend should bite the bullet and just face the facts and have the baby.
As they say, having a baby is a blessing. Think of all the other couples who are struggling to get a baby conceived. If your friend aborts the preg now, just imagine what her future kids (if she is ever planning to have any) would think of their unborn bro/sis who didn't have a chance to come into this world and have a life but instead was "murdered" by his/her mum! -
do the old fashioned way:
1) drink lots of lemon or pineapple juice
2) fall off a flight of stairs
3) punch the stomach

I am no expert but i heard even in abortion if its not done properly it can cause problems to the womans feteus to best is go doctor.
And seriously the BF too stupid to use rubber ? and if she can't abort due to her religion, why can she have sex b4 marriage ? -

i dun understand y couples are willing to take the risk to have underage sex but do not have the courage to take up the responsibility for the consequences, in this case the gal getting pregnant. I feel that no matter what happens, the gal shd just give birth to the baby. Abortion => taking of a life. Its no childs play. And btw dun just balme the bf.. the both parties are responsible.. it takes 2 hands to clap. If not she wouldn't be pregnant at all. Face the music, accept the fact.. let the litttle guy down there have a chance to see the world!

secondly, inducing a miscarriage is no different from getting an abortion. its both ending an unborn life.
thirdly, if she is afraid of ruining her furture, then why is she agreeing to having sex with her bf in the first place?
and since you asked for a way out, i suggest the girl talk to her parents about it. i believe no parents would turn away their own child.
if that fails, seek help from counsellors. there are plenty around. you even find ads for them at bus-stops.
so good luck.
though it'll be nice if she abandons that idea and keep that child. -
