somebody please pm me which herbs to buy? i cant stand it she calls me everyday to ask me how. im in a difficult position. i hate her for doing this but i cant interfere in how she wants to lead her life. she already made a huge mistake by having pms so if she feels that she doesnt want anything to do with a baby then i have nothing to say to her. anyways i think she and her bf are not even mature enough to get into a relationship much less get married.

I signed up for sgforums just to post this reply cos I am very disturbed by what I read from your posts. I am NOT here to preach morality, abstinence, religion or anything of that sort.
I just want to warn that you are about to commit a very grave mistake which you may regret for life. If you are truly concern about your friend, quit advising her to take some miracle herbs or visit some quack doctors. If done wrongly, the damage can be PERMANENT. Any botched abortion/miscarriage attempt may cause physical damage to her uterus such that she may not be able to conceive in future. Moreover, the whole episode may leave her psychologically traumatised.
You have mentioned several times in your posts that your friend is "immature" blah, blah and blah. I urge that as a "true" friend, you take a more matured and constructive approach to helping your friend.
First, help determine if she is indeed pregnant. This can be easily done by buying a test kit which is readily available in most pharmacies. If the test is negative, this will a lesson that she will remember for a long long time.
If the test is indeed positive, before she even contemplate an abortion, I would strongly advise that you bring her to a counsellor. Assure her that confidentiality will be maintained and there is no need to involve her parents or her church at this juncture.
If after all the counselling, she is still adamant that adoption is the only way out, then advise her to go to a qualified doctor. That is the ONLY safe method to have an abortion. Herbs, accidental falling, etc will NOT help. Don't even think of visiting some backyard "doctor" to do the job.
You friend is lost, fearful and confused. She came to you in her darkiest hours because she trusts you. She is now at the edge of a cliff. You can choose to pull her away from danger or you can choose to push her down. The choice is yours. -

If you're a good friend of hers, you should just tell her parents. She may hate you for life, but this is probably the one that will save her future.
She's Catholic, right? If she can't do abortion because of religious issues, why on earth do you think inducing a miscarriage will help? GOD WILL STILL KNOW WHAT YOU DID. If miscarriage got problem and she loses her life, she will still go to hell. You think God will spare her or what?

An "induced" misscarriage is not a good solution, or whatever 'quick fix' solution. There are repercussions to such 'quick fixes', such as health issues that might not be apparent now. Also, an induced miscarriage might lead your friend to be hospitalized, therefore exposing the whole situation to her parents. Right now, you might want to sit down with your friend and consider what options that are available to her. For example, telling her parents are an option. If her folks are also catholics, they might be more understanding than what she expects them to be. Who knows, the whole incident might pull the whole family in support of her. Another way is to seek tempoary shelter, have the baby, then decide for herself what she wants to do with her life. There was an article in the newspaper some time back that showcased one of these shelters. If not, you can always google it for her. Extreme measures might seem the only way out at the current moment, but take some time to think it over when emotions are settled, you might find that there are more options available than you think. Lastly, let her know that she should not be making a decision that she might regret a few years down the road.
