I think money is important, my gf always take money from me, if no money sure will quarrel one day. I also dunno why, she working herself still take money from me, like give me a feeling that she's stashing her money somewhere, but then take more from me and add to that stash so her mountain of cash grows bigger and bigger. As for me, from poor to broke to almost sleep-at-void-deck-state liao... For all I know, after this post I may have to sell my computers to put food on the table (of the void deck where I am going to sleep at).

Not all... but quite a few do have higher expectations...
i feel its mainly due to the confidence that they can bring more to the table than wat their previous generations could... and naturally u want more in return as well... and they complain when they can't...
wats impt is guys DO NOT LOSE CONFIDENCE due to this and let these girls come around their state of confusion themselves..

Wait till she has sucked enough money from you and has reached her financial targets, she may dump u for some rich yandao or some fat angmoh. After all, gals wan their partners to be loaded, not to be in a sleep at void deck state.

I seriously dont think there's anything wrong with girls having higher standard, going for guys who are in better financial position and better social status. I think that will drive us guys to improve ourselves.

being realistic is good but at wat expense n the level of it...
The real expectation gals shld have for their guy shld b that they r able to provide a shlter over them n they family...

They are becoming more materialistic, and better looks though. Are they getting higher standards? In fact it's the opposite, their standards dropped.
Which girl really care about your welfare from the bottom of her heart, none I have seen. Your mum scores much better in truthfully loving you, always worrying about your hunger, and wishing to have you live more comfortably. Girls I have seen always care about their own feelings, their body, dress, shoes, etc., your mum loves you most, forget about serious relationship nowadays.
Lest to mention going clubbing, pub, dancing, knowing different guys for different nights just to forget their problems.
The worst is they say they are going to stop all of these and find a handsome, rich BF, find a good job and start a family, but they are already not virgin.
