2ndly, i don't think sg has a law against sex change. however, they do not legally recognise a change in someone's gender. Of course singapore is a rather bad example of a society to begin with. I wouldn't use what they outlaw and what they don't, as a yardstick of what is right and wrong.
Why don't u look at more enlightened and open societies who not only recognise a person's right to a gender change, but award them full legal recognition of their rights as a member of the opposite sex, and even provides healthcare and treatment towards their transition?
And I'm thinking u really are quite ignorant about transgenderism and transsexuality right? Because there are a LOT of people who want to change their sex. Just because you don't come across them in your own little world, doesn't mean they don't exist. Don't be so naive ok? -
