I used to work as a part time bartender before, most bars usually use plastic pourers now.. very commonplace if you notice.Originally posted by aRcTiC_sTaR:By the way, any guys working in bars here?
Even if you're not, do offer me your opinion on the below issue.
Should I get a chrome or plastic pourer? I don't suppose the chrome pourer will rust right? But if I'm not wrong chrome tends to become dull after a long time.

I went down yesterday to get some bar equipment. When doing a check on the web, the total came up to $28. But when I got the stuff from the shop, the total was $37 instead.![]()

Originally posted by aRcTiC_sTaR:I didn't sum up the total ma... After paying then I realised that I was overcharged. Anyway I've sent an email to barworks to ask for an explanation. Hope that they will be able to provide me with a satisfactory answer.
If they say the prices were not reflected then I've got nothing much to say. But since the website is a main source of their operations, they should constantly update the prices. Like I said, a few dollars difference is still acceptable, but the difference was $9. From $28 to $37, that's a 25% extra, definitely a cause for concern.Originally posted by ditzy:So for now you can rule out currency exchange as a cause. What if they tell you the prices reflected on their website was not updated?![]()
Thank you for the email. Sorry for the Irregularities. The website was set up in 2003 wheras the retail shop was set up in 2005. Some prices have changed and we no longer provide online shopping and delivery for bar items. Now that's what I call good service. Thumbs up from me.
Apologies for the pricing difference. Kindly see below for the price I charged you so that you can have a understanding of the pricing currently. Hope you can understand as operating an online store costs is totally different from operating an actual retail store given higher rental, manpower, electricity etc. Thanks and good day!
Warmest Regards
