Like you said, you have your view... which is also what I said, you have your view and you have the right to it.
Just like I have my right to think that you have demeaned humanity by equating things we have to kill to eat with a human fetus.
Advise? I would think you have the right to think you are right. Just like I have the right to think that you are dead wrong.
Abortion, to me is not an option or a resort at all (my right to think this way)...
There may be others who believe in yours... you may not be right and they may not be right either.
There are those who will think I'm right.. and I may not be right, nor they...
Until then, I think it is you who do not understand the statement I am trying to make about the sanctity of human life. That sanctity encompasses everything that we are... free choice, dignity, right of self-determination, right of pursuit of happiness and with all these rights come personal responsibility.
Personal responsibility is lacking in cases of abortion. A fetus is seen as an inconvenience... a responsibility that can be surgically removed. Where does that end? Post-natal abortion? When people are old and decrepit, bedridden, they are "inconveniences" too... euthanise them?
That is the slippery road which starts from abortion.
Already, this has started in parts of Europe.
If you do not understand the implications of this, I think you never will. Until then, it is your right to think of a fetus as some kind of inconvenience.
