Tricky situation. Sometimes when a guy is out with his buddies and a girl approaches him, he doens't want to act spoilsport or not game enough. Especially since his buddies are there egging him on, if he acts like a prude it's quite embarassing. So he plays along and gives her his number. But after that if he's really faithful to his gal, he should just tell her he's attached and stay away from her.
