A MASSIVE manhunt was mounted on Monday after a 23-year-old woman was sexually attacked while jogging at one of the Macritchie Reservoir's forest trails.
More than 100 police officers and dogs were poured into the area, and elite reinforcements kept arriving till late on Monday.

She had been found naked, except for her jogging shoes, by fellow runners around 10 am on Monday. She was bleeding from her head, face and lips.
The hunt was centred at the area outside the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC), which bounded by Upper Thomson Road and Lornie Road.
The victim was described as being of medium build, had long hair and was fair-complexioned.
One of the joggers who found her alerted the club's security personnel, and the police were called immediately.
The woman is now in a stable condition in hospital, according to police.
The trail where the woman was attacked is off a private road behind the SICC. Usually used by members of the club to reach the golfing greens, the trail leads to the Sime Road end of the Macritchie Reservoir.
Police have not classified the case, pending results from a medical examination. -

i think its going to be difficult to catch the culprit.. unless there are some eye witness lor.. if not the results will be the same as the bukit batok one.. more and more sickos in singap0re..

Their life is so bad that they don't mind getting caught, put in prison or hanged. They simply don't care at all. They have nothing to worry about, unlike us. We tend to worry about getting sued, being arrested, going to jail etc. cuz we know that we all have a bright future ahead. But these "foreign talent" have nothing to look forward to. Besides, they are all alone here. Their families especially wives and girlfriends are back in their hometown. Therefore, they are sexually deprived. Just have to be careful with these people. -
My conjecture is that the rapist is familiar with the place coz it is quite ulu...He might have planned it in advance,planned when to strike and how to make his getaway
